The Dendrological Park "Sofievka" in Ukraine receives the certification Diploma as a member of the European Route of Historic Gardens
On October 27, 2023 "Sofievka" got the diploma that certificates its full membership of the #ERHG.
The presentation ceremony took place in #kyiv as part of the 52nd International Film Festival "Molodist".
The diploma was presented by the President of the Foundation for United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (FFUN SDG), Ambassador of #UNESCO Bologna Center Maurizio Aronica, to the acting director of the National Dendrological Park "Sofievka" of the National Academy of Sciences Volodymyr Hrabovyi, in presence of the Deputy MINISTER OF CULTURE of UKRAINE, Taras Shevchenko.
The ERHG is very proud to have "Sofievka" as a member of the ERHG and happy to know that finally the Diploma has been awarded. The difficult times Ukraine is going through have limited the possibilities of presenting the Diploma before, but finally it has been possible thanks to Mr. Maurizio Aronica mediating role to do so.
We are grateful to all "Sofievka" members and to Mr. Aronica for organizing the event and we wish that peace in #Ukraine will be achieved very soon.
