FFUN SDG has been invited to give a speech at the VII National Conference AICI (Association of Italian Cultural Institutions) in Naples on the 10th of November 2022. In addition to discussing current challenges for the Foundation and all cultural institutions associated, collaboration between Italy and Ukraine, FFUN focused the audience on the severe impact of the war on Ukraine's cultural heritage.
According to the verified UNESCO report on 07.11.2022 since 24 February 2022 damaged 213 cultural sites including 92 religious sites, 16 museums, 77 buildings of historical and/or artistic interest, 18 monuments, 10 libraries and huge numbers of stollen and destroyed art pieces. At the same time was initiated events and projects of digitalization and saving cultural heritage for the future reconstruction, and two Ukrainian cultural sites became the members of Europian itineraries/ Cultural Routes of the Council of the Europe: The National Dendrological Park “Sofiyivka” (The Europian Route of Historical Garden) and The National Museum of Hutsulshchyna and Pokuttya Folk Arts with the tradition of KOSIV ceramics Ivano-Frankivsk region (The European Route of Ceramic)
FFUN goal is to change people's consciousness through cultural projects, and through changing consciousness, people will demand new laws and changes in society. We organized numbers of cultural and art projects and events in Ukraine on 2020-2021 in cooperation with Italian cultural institutions, Embassy of Italy in Ukraine, and scheduled new ones in connection with AIDI.

About The VII National Conference.
Held in Naples on November 9-11 2022 at the Vittorio Emanuele III National Library, organized by the Association of Italian Cultural Institutions (AICI), together with the Management Education, Research and Cultural Institutes of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Directorate General for Libraries and Copyright, and under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic. The meeting aims to address the crucial issues related to culture, reaffirming the need to consider culture as an instrument of dialogue, cohesion and development in a historical moment crossed by serious global crises. The most important institutions, foundations and academies did meet to reflect on the role of culture in the new decade, an instrument of dialogue, a moment of social cohesion and an opportunity for development.
