Maurizio Aronica, President of the Foundation for United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (FFUN SDG), and Sheik Farooq, Ambassador for Central Asia and the Far East, have been awarded the prestigious title of Honorary Professor by the University of Business and Science in Uzbekistan.

The distinction represents an important recognition of their international professional commitment and longstanding engagement in promoting dialogue, cooperation and partnerships among academic institutions, organisations and countries.

 Sheik, through his work in medical education, has helped create opportunities for students and contributed to the development of human capital in the region.
