On 28 May 2026, Maurizio Aronica, President of the Foundation for United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (FFUN SDG), partner of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs – Sustainable Development, held an institutional meeting in Tashkent with the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan, Mrs Sabine Machl, together with her Finance Officer, Mrs Selbi Hanova.
The meeting represented an important opportunity to exchange views on strategic priorities and future initiatives related to sustainability, regional development, and international cooperation throughout Central Asia.
During the discussions, several potential areas of collaboration were explored, with particular attention to projects that can generate concrete, measurable impact for local communities and regional stakeholders.
The dialogue reaffirmed the shared commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals through institutional cooperation, multilateral engagement, and long-term partnerships.
